Something about Us...
CōDICEDS was born in 2020 from an idea of Leonardo Davighi, designer and archaeologist and Filippo Sanpaolesi, communication manager. A collection of rings and cufflinks in burnished silver and bronze: precious, material and imperfect objects that evoke past atmospheres and ancient stories, but at the same time are strongly modern with their simple and essential shapes. Handcrafted products in Italy.
How was your brand born?
CōDICEDS was born from our passion for design, ancient and contemporary art, archeology and collecting. It is the result of an extensive and continuous aesthetic research between archaeological references, lost symbols but with a strongly current language, through the rediscovery of ancient Italian craft traditions such as, among other things, the micro mosaic and the opus sectile and the techniques of stone and metal working, reinterpreted with contemporary materials and finishes.
